Mike Applegate, FNP, Founder & Chief Clinical Manager
Mike Applegate is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Founder, Chief Clinical Manager, and CEO of OptimizedTR, a leading health optimization clinic serving Cumming and North Georgia. He brings more than 20 years of experience in flight medicine, emergency medicine, and neurosurgical intensive care, followed by advanced practice within the Northside Hospital system.
Mike co-founded OptimizedTR alongside his wife, Stacy, his partner of nearly 30 years and the mother of their six children, with a shared vision of creating a more personalized, proactive, and outcomes-driven model of care. Together, they built OptimizedTR as a family-led clinic rooted in integrity, trust, and long-term patient relationships.
Under his leadership, the clinic now serves more than 500 active hormone patients and manages approximately 200 weight loss patients at any given time. OptimizedTR has also expanded into sexual wellness for both men and women, offering advanced therapies including the O-Shot®, P-Shot®, and soundwave treatments.
The clinic has earned a strong regional reputation for clinical excellence and patient trust, reflected in more than 150 five-star Google reviews. Mike is proud to lead a family-founded practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and meaningful health outcomes.
