Heather Burleson, MMS, PA-C
Heather Burleson is a board-certified Physician Associate with more than 18 years of clinical experience across OB/GYN, interventional cardiology, and cardiac electrophysiology. She has been a key provider at Genesis Lifestyle Medicine since 2018.
Her clinical specialties include hormone optimization, sexual wellness, medical weight loss, and aesthetics. Heather also serves as a clinical trainer, mentoring providers across the organization to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
She is committed to collaborative, patient-centered medicine and values staying at the forefront of evidence-based wellness care.
Angela Mealer, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Angela Mealer is a Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee, bringing a broad and well-rounded medical background to her practice. Her experience spans inpatient hospital care, emergency medicine, primary care in rural health settings, and entrepreneurship management in retail healthcare, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both clinical care and patient experience.
Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1998 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Memphis. Over many years in practice, she discovered a deep passion for patient education, holistic care, and hormone replacement therapy, believing these elements play a vital role in improving quality of life and long-term health outcomes. She holds certifications in hormone replacement therapy and peptide therapy.
A strong advocate for optimal patient care, Angela emphasizes the importance of current, evidence-based education as a cornerstone of health optimization. She is known for taking the extra time with patients to explain treatment options, reinforce understanding, and thoughtfully address questions or concerns, ensuring each patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care.
