What to expect during your P-Shot treatment
The treatment is started by taking blood from the patient, separating the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma, and then injecting the plasma into the body.
On the day of your treatment, your genital area will be numbed first with a topical product, then an injection. This will help minimize any discomfort during the shots.
After your blood has been drawn, it will be put inside a device that separates the components of your blood. Once the plasma is separated from the red blood cells and impurities, it will be placed inside a syringe, and the injections will be administered.
The injections are in the base of the penis, the shaft, and the head. This part of the appointment is very quick, and the majority of patients find it very tolerable.
