The P-Shot uses PRP, which is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Your blood is processed to concentrate platelets, which contain proteins called growth factors involved in the body’s tissue repair processes. The PRP is then injected into targeted areas of the penis. Your treatment begins by numbing the genital area with a topical anesthetic followed by a numbing injection. A small amount of blood is then drawn and placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components. Once prepared, the PRP is carefully injected into targeted areas of your penis, including the base, shaft, and head. The entire appointment takes about 30 minutes.
