Jessica MacLeod, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Jessica is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health, wellness, and vitality through a personalized, integrative approach to care. She believes that true wellness extends beyond simply treating symptoms and involves addressing the whole person through nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, hormone balance, and other evidence-based therapies that support the body’s natural ability to thrive.

Jessica has a special interest in medical weight loss, hormone optimization, peptide therapies, aesthetics, and sexual wellness. She is particularly passionate about helping patients address concerns that are often overlooked or difficult to discuss, empowering them to improve their confidence, energy, overall well-being, and quality of life.

Prior to entering the field of healthcare, Jessica spent eight years serving her community in law enforcement as both a Community Service Officer and Corrections Officer. Her desire to continue helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing while balancing work and raising a young family. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, beginning that educational journey just six weeks after the birth of her fourth child.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to learning and professional growth, Jessica went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati online. Throughout her nursing career, she has gained extensive experience caring for patients across a variety of healthcare settings. Her nine years of nursing experience includes Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, and Interventional Radiology, where she cared for patients undergoing procedures and provided procedural sedation. She also has experience as a provider in Psychiatric Mental Health, helping patients navigate behavioral health conditions with compassion and evidence-based care. This diverse clinical background allows her to bring a comprehensive and patient-centered perspective to wellness and preventive medicine.

Jessica and her family recently relocated to Colorado, drawn by the mountains, outdoors active lifestyle, and strong culture of health and wellness that closely align with their values. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, reiki/energy medicine, running, biking, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband and kids. She believes that proper nutrition, regular exercise, restorative sleep, stress management, and a focus on overall wellness are essential foundations for optimal health. Her goal is to help patients not only live longer but also feel better, perform at their best, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Jessica looks forward to partnering with patients on their wellness journey and helping them achieve their health goals through compassionate, individualized care that combines modern medicine with evidence-based wellness strategies.

Erin Olivas, Clinic Director

Erin Olivas, NCMA, BSOL, MSML, is the Clinic Director at Genesis Lifestyle Medicine in Fort Collins and brings nearly a decade of healthcare experience and operational leadership to the team. Passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, Erin leads with integrity, kindness, and a commitment to exceptional client care. She believes the best healthcare experiences are built on trust, compassion, and meaningful relationships. Erin is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where clients and employees feel heard, valued, and empowered to become the best version of themselves.

How to Find Us

Our Fort Collins office is located at 363 W Drake Rd, Suite 9, Fort Collins, CO. We are just off College Avenue (US-287), near the intersection with Drake Road, and a short distance from The Colorado State University campus. Look for Building 363 and head to the lowest level of the building. When you come down the stairs you will head to the right and will walk straight into our waiting area.

Parking is available directly in front of the clinic, and our entrance is convenient and clearly marked.
