Mariol Torres, APRN

Mariol Torres, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of diverse clinical experience spanning aesthetic medicine, functional medicine, and emergency medicine. Throughout her career, she’s been driven by a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while building meaningful relationships with her patients.

Originally from South Florida, she’s a proud member of a family of eight. “During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to work in Texas, where I quickly fell in love with the people, sense of community, and collaborative healthcare culture. That experience ultimately led me to make Texas my home,” Mariol exclaims.

Known by colleagues as both dedicated and approachable, she brings a strong clinical foundation, adaptability across care settings, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. She proudly embraces her “inner nerd,” with a passion for staying current on medical research, best practices, and innovative approaches to patient care.

Yuna Muyinda, APRN

I am a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with over four years of clinical experience providing high-quality patient care across urgent care and wellness settings. I began my advanced practice career in urgent care, where I developed strong skills in acute illness management, injury assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based treatment of diverse patient populations. This fast-paced environment strengthened my ability to make timely clinical decisions while delivering patient-centered care.

Building on this foundation, I transitioned into the wellness and preventive medicine space, where I focus on helping patients achieve optimal health through personalized treatment plans, chronic disease management, weight management, preventive screenings, aesthetic wellness, and lifestyle-focused interventions. My approach emphasizes education, collaboration, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.

I strongly believe that when patients feel confident in how they look, they often feel amazing in every aspect of their lives. Enhancing outward confidence can positively impact self-esteem, motivation, and overall wellness. This philosophy drives my passion for combining evidence-based medicine with wellness and aesthetic treatments that help patients look and feel their best.

The Genesis Lifestyle Medicine Fort Worth clinic is located inside the Rosedale Medical building, a multi-story medical office complex in Fort Worth’s Medical District. It sits directly on W Rosedale Street and 9th Avenue, making it easy to access from I-35W. The building is in the medical district near Baylor Scott & White Surgicare. Please allow ample time to find parking.
